The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join the London office. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategies to achieve sales targets. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, target-oriented individual with a proven track record in business development within the corporate and trust services sector.

Responsibilities
* Prospect for new clients through networking, direct communication, and other lead generation techniques.
* Plan and deliver compelling pitches that effectively demonstrate the value of the services offered.
* Develop new business relationships and negotiate new income streams in alignment with annual targets.
* Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients by providing tailored solutions and support.
* Collaborate with senior management, marketing, and administration teams to ensure effective service delivery.
* Manage the sales cycle, from lead generation to finalising sales and transitioning clients to the account management team.
* Participate in weekly sales meetings and provide updates on sales strategies and processes.
* Prepare and present client proposals while adhering to company procedures.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the corporate and trust sector or business consultancy, preferably within financial services, accounting, or legal environments.
* An existing business network of introducers that can be leveraged to enhance the company's reach.
* Knowledge of compliance and client due diligence requirements, with an understanding of relevant regulations.
* Postgraduate qualification in law, business, finance, or accounting is preferable but not essential.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, coupled with excellent organisational capabilities and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
