Job Description
1. Report to the Private Credit Controller to design and implement financial and operational best practices for private credit funds and business development companies (BDCs) in order to support the growth and evolution of the platformOversee the preparation of the private credit fund and BDC financial statements, including quarterly financial statements (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks), capital account statements, marketing letters, performance reporting, capital calls, and distribution noticesPerform management and incentive calculations, expense accruals, budgeting and forecastingReview partnership fund accounting reconciliations, capital account statements, financial statements, etc. for separate accounts and esoteric strategiesWork closely with private credit teams to understand new and complex investmentsWork closely with third party vendor partners including accounting agents and pricing vendors, facility providers, etc.Effectively liaise with other investment professionals, legal and compliance, business development, and operations to ensure proper controls are in place to support current and future businessServes as the key point of contact for auditors and tax accountantsAssist to generate and coordinate other corporate deliverables such as forecasts and management reporting
