This is an outstanding opportunity to join our client – a globally renowned, industry‑leading multidisciplinary consultancy that lends expertise to projects across architecture, planning, engineering and sustainability. They are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Sustainability Consultant with a strong background in ESG to join a well‑established team based in Manchester.

Responsibilities
* Take the lead on sustainability strategies and monitoring frameworks
* Oversee Net Zero Carbon strategies and assessments
* Conduct material life‑cycle assessments (LCA) and circulatory assessments
* Provide support for environmental and wellbeing consultancy and assessments (including BREEAM, LEED, SKA, and the WELL Building Standard)
* Conduct post‑occupancy evaluations (POE) and NABERS assessments
* Provide Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) consultancy services
Required skills and experience
* A UK degree (or equivalent qualification) in Environmental Management, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a similar relevant discipline
* Significant experience working within sustainability in a consultancy setting
* Excellent working knowledge of BREEAM and successful delivery of BREEAM assessments
* Experience producing complex technical reports
* Good working knowledge of environmental and sustainability legislation, particularly UK developments
* Demonstrable experience undertaking LEED, SKA, or WELL Building Standard assessments
* Excellent proficiency with materials life‑cycle tools and software systems such as One Click LCA
* Experience carrying out circulatory assessments and consultancy services
* Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience
* UK Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant built‑environment discipline
* Full, valid UK driving licence
