JOB TITLE: Finance Manager - Intercompany
SALARY: £65,385 – £79,915
LOCATION: Edinburgh
HOURS: Full-time – 35 hours per week
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated individual to join our Intercompany Team within Group Reporting & Ledger Control which is part of GFS.
The Intercompany team are responsible for the control, reporting and governance of Intercompany activities to deliver assurance on the underlying financial information and confirm internal and external balances are reported accurately.
Key Financial Controls like Intercompany Posting, Reconciliation, Settlement, and Matching are crucial in guaranteeing the completeness of our External Legal Entity Financial Reporting. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining these standards.

WHAT ARE THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE?
* Reconciliation and detailed analysis of Intercompany balances to ensure Group Intercompany positions are recorded accurately within the ledger.
* Investigation of any significant mismatches, driving resolution of issues back to source.
* Working collaboratively with the wider Finance division to deliver the month end process, which includes resolving all material intercompany mismatches.
* Establish solid relationships with key stakeholders.
* Taking the lead on Intercompany projects, transformation and change initiatives.
* Drive forward a robust risk and control environment.
* Supporting complex group wide projects.
* Leading and supporting process improvement initiatives both within team and in the wider team where applicable.
* Grows own capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities and develops the capabilities of direct reports by working within existing development framework; provides specialised training or coaching.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
We’re looking for a dedicated finance professional with a strong track record of performance, ideally within the financial services sector:
* A qualified accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
* Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with automation tools such as AI, Microsoft Co-pilot, and Power BI.
* Strong analytical capabilities and a proactive approach to driving business success.
* Demonstrated experience in effectively managing collaborators.
* A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team to support shared goals.
* A commitment to continuous improvement, with the confidence to speak up, challenge constructively, and contribute to process enhancements.
* The ability to positively influence others by embodying the core values and behaviours of Lloyds Banking Group.
