Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and driven Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function. This role is a Group role whish supports all divisions within VMS Automotive Group Reporting to the Central Services Director the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a diverse portfolio including both indirect and direct categories. They will also aid and support in the development and implementation of best practices to optimize sourcing, cost efficiency, and supplier relationships. Experience and skills: Experience in both Direct and Indirect procurement Demonstrated experience of cost reduction and value engineering Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Strong analytical, commercial and negotiation skills Ability to work on multiple workstreams at the same time Able to work to challenging deadlines Strong skills in Planning, leading and managing projects Fast learner an inquisitivde The ideal candidate: Robust understanding of end-to-end procurement process Able to work mange time effectively Able to adhere to agreed priorities, procedures and processes Ability to complete new contracts in place in line with the contract expiry calendar Effective decision maker Able to deal with ambiguity and change whilst maintaining the tenacity and perseverance required to achieve the required objectives Flexible and able to deliver pragmatic solutions which work on the ground Previous industry experience within automotive/fleet business would be advantageous To be eligible as part of our recruitment process to the interview stage, you will need to provide: Evidence of your right to work in the UK, in the form of: Passport or Birth Certificate and National Insurance Number on an official document.
