This company has a strong reputation for quality and innovation within its sector and continues to invest in both its people and technology to drive operational excellence.Your new roleAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in driving process improvements and supporting production efficiency across the site. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities to optimise manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing robust manufacturing processes and procedures
* Leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles
* Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensuring smooth transition into production
* Analysing production data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
* Collaborating with design, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a fast-paced environment
* Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
* Experience with process improvement and problem-solving tools (e.g. root cause analysis)
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
* A degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
