Homeless Housing Options Officer Required
Location: Bromsgrove (Hybrid)
Duration: 3 months +
Hours: 37hrs
Start Date: ASAP
Venn Group are looking for dedicated Homeless Housing Options Officer to join a Leading Housing Association. If you are passionate about supporting vulnerable people and looking for your next challenge apply now!!
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Working with Part VII Housing Act 1996
* Professionally make S184 Decisions
* Candidate will oversee the whole Homeless process from first point of contact until the very end and placing them in suitable accommodation
* Assess homeless housing applications
* Work and understand the perimeters of the Homeless Reduction Act 2017
* Support service users with making housing and benefit applications.
* Give service users general advice on housing and any other benefits they are entitled too
* Person will be responsible for homeless prevention and relief.
The successful candidate will have:
* Full UK Drivers License
* DBS
* Minimum of a 1 year experience
* Made s184 decisions
