This is a flexible role ideal for professionals committed to delivering high-quality support to children and families in need. Role: Childrens Support Worker (Agency) Pay: GBP15 - GBP17 per hour Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (Agency) Location: Various settings across Kings Lynn The Role: As a Residential Childrens Support Worker, you will play a key role in the day-to-day care and wellbeing of the young people in our care. You will: · Provide emotional support and guidance to children with additional needs. · Assist with daily routines such as school runs, meal preparation, and recreational activities. · Help maintain a safe, structured, and caring environment. · Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and behavioural support strategies. · Conduct regular key work sessions with the young people · Support children in overcoming personal challenges and achieving their goals. · Keep accurate records and contribute to reports on the childrens progress and wellbeing. Requirements · Must have an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the update service or be willing to process a new one with Prospero. · A caring, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach. · Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. · Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. · A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
