Purpose of the role
The FP&A Analyst is responsible for ensuring that Conexus has accurate, comprehensive, and timely analysis to support decision-making across the organisation.
* Responsible for building annual budgets and forecasts for different teams and consolidating them into one master budget.
* Analysing past financial performance, preparing competitor analysis, and examining market trends along with commentary for management.
* Creating financial models to predict growth and forecast performance.
* Analysing previous budgets and forecasts and performing variance analysis to explain discrepancies.
* Evaluating new and existing projects, business cases, investments, and assets to determine their validity and appraise their value.
* Preparing financial and strategic plans for individual teams and Conexus as a whole.
* Coaching and ongoing development of teams across Conexus on budgeting, forecasting, and business case preparation.
* Management of risk, effective control of allocated budget and resources, and building a culture of continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
* Educated to master’s degree level or equivalent experience within healthcare staffing or similar industries or functional roles
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
* Experience with budgeting and planning cycles in global businesses
* Experience in evaluating business cases and projects and coaching managers on improvements
* Strong commercial acumen with a collaborative, business partnering mindset
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
* Expertise in helping end users with financial forecasting.
* Creating a range of financial models based on scenario planning.
* Building financial plans for different teams with different financial needs
* Provision of appropriate insight to senior managers
* Experience in competitor analysis
* A strong communicator with an ability to influence senior stakeholders
* Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
* Advanced Excel for financial modelling with demonstrable experience & examples
* Power BI would be beneficial
