This long term Class Teacher role is based in a Coventry special school that supports pupils with diverse additional needs. The position begins in January and will continue for the remainder of academic year. Job shares may be considered. Responsibilities You will teach a small class group and shape lessons so they meet the needs of learners who benefit from clear steps and predictable structure. You will work closely with support staff, contribute to assessments and personalised plans, and create an environment where pupils feel settled and secure. Your approach will play a key part in helping each child progress at their own pace. Requirements We are looking for a teacher who is thoughtful, adaptable, and confident in creating accessible learning. You will need: QTS. ECTs with QTS are welcome and encouraged to apply. Experience teaching in primary or secondary settings. Some experience supporting pupils with SEND. A patient and organised teaching style. Ability to differentiate and scaffold learning.
