Role responsibilities
* Planning, leading and completing audit assignments for clients across multiple sectors
* Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with FRS 102 and other relevant standards
* Supervising and mentoring junior staff on-site and in the office
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients during audit engagements
* Ensuring audit files are completed to a high standard and in line with professional regulations
* Supporting managers and partners on technical queries and complex client issues
* Identifying potential improvements to audit processes and contributing to team development

Candidate requirements
* ACA or ACCA part-qualified or qualified with previous experience in a UK audit and assurance team
* Strong technical understanding of audit procedures and financial reporting standards
* Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
* Proven experience supervising junior staff and managing audit fieldwork
* A team-focused approach with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Enthusiasm to grow within a firm that supports long-term progression
