Senior Sales Executive – New Business (Hunter / New Logo Acquisition)

Are you a proven new business hunter with a deep understanding of Corporate Lending and Trade Finance?
We’re looking for a Senior Sales Executive to win new banking clients and expand footprint in this critical domain.
You’ll play a key role in driving market growth and positioning industry-leading software to enable banks to modernise Corporate Lending and Trade Finance operations.
What you’ll do
Create and manage a strategic territory plan that includes activities for quota attainment.
Manage territory to maximise sales resources and revenue opportunities and to minimise travel and selling-related expenses.
Analyse financial position and challenges of prospects to determine sales approach.
Understand market drivers and collaborate with both the client and internal stakeholders to overcome potential impediments.
Use a consultative sales approach to develop account plans and identify specific needs for each prospect.
Close business to meet forecast commitments and sales quotas.
Maintain appropriate sales development activity to ensure healthy pipeline management.
Ensure and maintain sales forecasting data in sales reporting system to allow for opportunity management and reporting.
Develop and maintain relationships with industry/professional individuals and organisations.
Participate in user group meetings and trade shows as approved.
Stay abreast of current industry trends, competitors, and current/new company products and services.

What you bring
~8+ years of new business enterprise sales experience within FinTech / banking software
~ Proven success selling Corporate Lending and/or Trade Finance software solutions into banks
~ Demonstrated ability to hunt, engage, and close new logo opportunities in complex sales cycles
~ Deep understanding of banking industry pain points, regulatory drivers, and innovation priorities
~ Strong consultative and relationship-based selling skills
~ Ability to sell to and influence C-level stakeholders
~ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
