Your new role is working for a large contractor who has recently won many social housing contracts across the North.
Your new role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tiler to join our team, working on a dedicated social housing bungalow scheme. The role involves tiling kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard, ensuring safe, durable, and visually appealing finishes for residents. You will be required to;
* Carry out wall and floor tiling in occupied and void bungalows
* Prepare surfaces, including levelling and waterproofing, prior to installation
* Cut, lay, and grout tiles with precision and attention to detail
* Work closely with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Communicate effectively with site supervisors and tenants when required
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in residential tiling, ideally within social housing
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Strong knowledge of materials, adhesives, and tools
* Full UK driving licence preferred
* NVQ Level 2 in Wall and Floor Tiling (desirable but not essential)
