Job Title: NDE Development Engineer
Working Pattern: 37 Hours/Days
Working location: Derby Raynesway
We are currently looking to recruit an NDE Development Engineer for our non-destructive testing group. You will develop advanced automated ultrasonic, radiographic, and eddy current inspection techniques including state-of-the-art phased array inspection capabilities for use on naval reactor plant.

What you will be doing:
* Design, develop, justify, and apply high integrity inspection techniques.
* Test high integrity components through all stages of their lifecycle.
* Operate as part of a close-knit team, developing and implementing new non-destructive examination methods using bespoke and standard NDE equipment.
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards to maintain quality and integrity.
Who we're looking for:
* Experience in developing and justifying inspection techniques per European Network for Inspection and Qualification methodology.
* Experience in regulated industries requiring high reliability and integrity.
* A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
* Professional qualifications in NDT (e.g., PCN, SNT, ASNT, MIPS, GUIDE) are highly beneficial, with qualifications in UT, RT, and ET techniques preferred.
* Experience with automated ultrasonic and eddy current testing systems is advantageous.
* Ability to work in a highly technical, multidisciplinary environment under tight deadlines.
