Job Description
3. Management of own client portfolio, being the main point of contact for the business
4. Preparation of Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns
5. Preparation of Management Accounts
6. Personal Tax Return Preparation
7. Providing commercial business support to clients
8. Experience in dealing with Company Secretarial matters
9. Supervising junior members of the team and reviewing their work
10. Working together with a Team of Managers
11. Tax advantaged share schemes e.g. EMI share options
12. Venture capital schemes e.g. EIS/SEIS
13. R&D and Creative Industries tax relief claims (including video games tax reliefs)
14. Involvement with business development activities
The Successful Applicant
A successful Business Services Manager should have:
15. Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (AAT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
16. Proven experience in managing accounting and finance operations within the professional services industry.
17. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
18. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
19. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
20. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
21. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
