Geoenvironmental Engineer - Aberdeen

An established and growing environmental and geotechnical consultancy is looking to recruit a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their Aberdeen team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of contaminated land, site investigation and remediation projects across Scotland and the wider UK.
You’ll be part of a supportive technical team, with exposure to projects from initial site walkovers through to detailed reporting and remediation support. The role offers a strong mix of office-based work and site experience, alongside clear opportunities for professional development.
Responsibilities
* Phase 1 desk studies and site walkovers
* Phase 2 intrusive ground investigations
* Soil, groundwater and gas sampling
* Factual and interpretative reporting
* Liaising with clients, contractors and regulators
* Supporting remediation and validation works
Qualifications
* A degree in Geoenvironmental Science, Geology, Environmental Science or similar
* Experience working in a geoenvironmental or contaminated land role
* Understanding of UK contaminated land guidance and ground investigation practices
* Strong report writing and communication skills
* A full UK driving licence
* Must live within a commutable distance from Aberdeen office
