CNC Machine Operator / Improver
Orpington, Kent
£13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
40 hours per week | Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Premier Recruitment Group are proud to partner with a long-standing and well-established engineering company based in Orpington. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Machine Operator / Improver to join a highly skilled engineering team.
This role is ideally suited to someone with experience operating CNC machines who is now looking to progress into machine setting and, ultimately, programming.

Key Responsibilities
* Following job cards, procedures and instructions from team leaders
* Operating CNC milling and turning machines
* Inspecting components as they come off the machines
* Completing daily machine checks
* Working accurately from engineering drawings and production methods

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
* A good understanding of engineering drawings
* Knowledge of CNC milling and turning processes
* Experience using inspection equipment such as micrometres and verniers
* An understanding of an ISO9001 quality environment
* Basic computer literacy
* A driven and motivated attitude with pride in their work
* The ability to work under pressure when required
