This is your chance to shape quality culture in a world-class pharmaceutical environment.Overview of job opportunity:Lead and motivate a team of QC microbiologists to deliver accurate, on-time results.Oversee environmental monitoring, sterility testing, and microbial identification etc. In addition, you will be involved with the implementation of new techniques.Ensure full GMP compliance and uphold data integrity across all lab activities. You will be the company representative for governing bodies, eg. MHRA.Troubleshoot technical issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Partner cross-functionally to support production, validation, and quality assurance.Skills and Experience:Degree in Microbiology or a related life science discipline.Strong experience in a GMP-regulated pharma or biotech QC environment. Specifically, you will demonstrate experience of Bioburden testing, Membrane filtration and pour plate, Endotoxin, Kinetic plate reader assays, Gram Staining, Environmental Monitoring, Growth Promotion, Sterility, Membrane filtration and direct inoculation.Proven leadership skills – coaching, motivating, and developing people.Sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
