Position: Front End/UI Developer
Job Purpose
As a mid to senior level UI developer the candidate is responsible for delivering new content functionalities for the application that is currently in production.
Job Related Statistics
Ability to estimate tasks, meet deadlines, report status daily in stand‑ups, and raise risks or technical challenges to the Tech Lead & Architect, mitigating issues without impacting delivery timelines or quality.
Job Duties
Work closely with other tech leads, the team lead, and follow scrum ceremonies to focus on deliverables, understand release requirements as user stories in Azure DevOps, estimate tasks, implement according to low‑level design, write unit tests, and submit PRs for integration. Responsibilities include a strong quality focus through unit testing and significant interaction with integration points including L4 & L8/E2E.
* Develop new user‑facing features
* Build reusable code and libraries for future use
* Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
* Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
* Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back‑end
* Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Skills And Qualifications
* 3 to 7 years of work experience in front‑end development
* Proficient understanding of client‑side scripting and JavaScript frameworks like Angular 2+, React, or Polymer
* Strong understanding of JavaScript design patterns and object‑oriented JavaScript
* Proficient in unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine
* Strong understanding of Web components
* Basic understanding of build systems like Webpack or Bazel
* Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
* Proficient in server‑side CSS pre‑processing platforms such as LESS and SASS
* Basic knowledge of Node.js, Express, and OAuth
* Basic understanding of state‑management libraries such as Redux or NGRX
