The opportunity has arisen to join NHS Borders AHP services supporting the development of education and workforce across our services. This role will compliment our existing Practice Education Lead (PEL) role providing input across a wide range of educational and workforce development areas. Examples of current and future workstreams include; embedding of support and supervision across AHP services, development of Advance Practice and HCSW frameworks, embedding of protected learning time and job planning, support of Board approaches to recruitment and retention, and the development of service level workforce planning in line with safe staffing legislation. This role sits within our wider Education team and provides a multi-professional approach to education and training across the Board including our newly qualified practitioners programme (NQP) and simulation training.
