Infrastructure Tester x2
Location: Hampshire (Onsite)
Duration: 18 Months
Clearance: DV Clearance required (Active)
Rate: £450 - £550 a day - Outside IR35
We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Infrastructure Tester to join a major secure government programme based on-site in Basingstoke. This is a hands‑on testing role focused on validating and assuring complex Zero Trust Infrastructure environments supporting mission‑critical services.
Working within a highly secure delivery team, you will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting infrastructure testing activities across a range of technologies, ensuring solutions are robust, secure and fit for operational deployment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and execute infrastructure test plans, test cases and test scripts.
* Validate Zero Trust architecture components and supporting infrastructure.
* Perform end‑to‑end testing across servers, networks, security controls and integrations.
* Verify deployments, configurations and environment readiness.
* Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.
* Support system integration, functional, non‑functional and operational testing activities.
* Work closely with engineers, architects, security specialists and delivery teams.
* Produce clear test evidence, reports and assurance documentation.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Active UK DV Clearance.
* Strong hands‑on infrastructure testing experience within secure environments.
* Experience testing complex enterprise infrastructure solutions.
* Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and security architectures.
* Understanding of Windows and Linux server environments.
* Experience testing network infrastructure, authentication services and security controls.
* Familiarity with virtualised and cloud‑based environments.
* Strong defect management and test reporting skills.
* Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation abilities.
