An exciting opportunity has arisen within the West Caithness Health and Social Care Team based at William Smith House, Thurso. We are looking for a motivated & enthusiastic individual to work with patients in their own homes to provide holistic care. Your primary responsibility will be to support and assist service users to maximize and maintain their independence. Flexibility and initiative are essential. The post-holder will provide high standards of patient care to ensure a high quality service to the community.
Experience is not required, as full training and induction will be provided. Opportunities to complete your SVQ in Health & Social Care and potential for career progression.
A driving licence is essential, and applicants should have access to their own vehicle. A pool vehicle is available for rural areas.
This is a permanent part-time position (17.27 hours/week), working on a 4.00pm - 9.00pm rota, 4 days on, 4 days off, or as per service needs.
This role does not qualify for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
