The Role
The organisation is seeking an experienced and detail-focused Restoration Technician to join their established team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working on heritage vehicles including Aston Martin DB4, DB5, DB6, DBS, V8, and pre-war Lagonda models. The role involves full mechanical restoration processes from initial strip-down through to final assembly and road testing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete mechanical strip-down, rebuild, and reassembly of classic vehicles
* Diagnosis and rectification of mechanical and engineering faults
* Build-up of vehicles from bare painted body
* Road testing and final quality verification
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Ensuring all work meets the high standards expected in concours-level restorations
* Upholding the craftsmanship and quality reputation of the business
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* Significant experience within classic car restoration or a premium automotive environment
* A solid amount of experience working with classic vehicles (essential)
* A strong mechanical background with relevant qualifications
* A meticulous and detail-driven approach to workmanship
* A genuine passion for heritage and performance vehicles
* Strong ability in traditional, hands-on mechanical craftsmanship
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday
* 8:00am 4:30pm
* No weekend working
* 40 hours per week
