TPF Recruitment, the Sussex accountancy practice specialist recruitment agency, is working with a well established accountancy firm to recruit an Assistant Manager into its Financial Reporting Team. The role can be based in either Chichester or Horsham.
This is a technically focused position supporting Audit teams through the preparation and review of high quality accounts. As the Financial Reporting offering expands externally, there will be increasing exposure to large and complex assignments and collaboration with external auditors.
Key responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of financial reporting work for audit
Prepare and review complex statutory accounts, including consolidations
Supervise and support junior team members, providing feedback and training
Act as a key contact for Audit teams to ensure quality and timely delivery
Contribute to process improvements and future go to market activity
Requirements
Requirements
Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and accounts preparation
Experience with IFRS, FRS 101, FRS 102 and group consolidations
Previous experience reviewing accounts and identifying technical issues
Confident supervising and developing junior staff
Experience using Caseware for accounts production
Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified.
