About the Role
As an Emergency Lighting Engineer, youll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing lighting systems across communal, emergency, and external environments.
Key responsibilities include: - Emergency Lighting / EML Engineer, Greater London
Service and repair emergency lighting systems
Remedial works across communal and external lighting
Compile and maintain a register of EML assets on site
Complete job reports and certification with accuracy
Keep clear records of all completed works
Deliver excellent customer service
Communicate effectively with your manager and admin support
About You
Were looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and has a practical understanding of emergency lighting systems.
Requirements:
Proven experience in EML testing and repairs, ideally in public sector settings
UK driving licence (required)
City & Guilds Level 2 or 3, or equivalent (preferred, not essential)
Clear, professional communication skills and a proactive approach
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
1-hour lunch break
Weekend and evening work available at enhanced rates
