We are working with a friendly SEN school based in Winchester, and we are currently seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The school boasts fantastic facilities, including a sensory room, soft play areas, and extensive outdoor spaces.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with their learning and development. Some of the experiences we are looking for in the ideal candidate include:
* Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with autism and/or social and emotional needs.
* Knowledge of and experience with behaviour management strategies.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with parents and other professionals.
* A patient and nurturing approach to working with children.
* Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment.
