*Key Responsibilities:*
*Surface Preparation*:
* Inspect vehicles upon arrival from the Panel Shop to confirm all bodywork repairs and filler work are complete and ready for paint preparation.

* Priming: Accurately mix and apply primers and stopping materials as required by the repair method and manufacturer specifications.
*Masking and Booth Preparation:*
* Thoroughly clean and degrease all surfaces prior to masking.
* "Bagging Up": Meticulously mask and protect all non-painted areas, including windows, trim, door handles, wheels, and interior sections, ensuring complete coverage to prevent overspray.

*Workflow and Quality Control:*
* Manage workload efficiently to ensure a smooth flow of vehicles into the paint booth, meeting daily repair targets and deadlines.
* Conduct a final check post-prep to ensure the vehicle is clean, correctly masked, and ready for the Paint Technician to achieve a perfect finish for fitment (ensuring all mounting holes, threads, and edges are clear and ready for the Fitter).
* Maintain all prep area equipment, sanding tools, and the prep station itself, adhering strictly to health and safety procedures (including proper use of respirators and disposal of hazardous waste).
