Our client is based in Southampton, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the Payroll team is looking for additional support.
Job Description
* Accurately process payroll for employees in line with organisational policies and legal requirements.
* Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring all data is current and correct.
* Handle payroll queries and provide timely resolutions to any discrepancies.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory deductions.
* Assist with the preparation of payroll reports for management review.
* Support the accounting and finance team with related administrative tasks.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
* Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary updates.

A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
