Location: Harrow, North West London
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hours
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned tuition in GCSE Maths and/or English.
2. Identify individual learning needs and create tailored lesson plans to close gaps and prepare students for exams.
3. Offer consistent support, encouragement, and structured guidance to improve both confidence and academic results.
4. Adjust teaching methods for students who may have SEN needs, ensuring inclusive, accessible learning.
5. Track and report progress, maintaining communication with parents/carers where needed.
Requirements:
6. Minimum 1 year experience teaching or tutoring GCSE-level Maths and English.
7. Right to work in the UK
8. Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
Desired:
9. PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status.
10. Experience working with students with SEN.
