Job Vacancy: SEND Administrator (Part-Time) – IG5 | Immediate Start | Long-Term Role
Principal Education is seeking a highly organised and experienced SEND Administrator to join a supportive school in the IG5 area. This is a part-time role (3 days per week), starting ASAP, with the opportunity to become a long-term placement.
About the Role:
Position: SEND Administrator

Location: IG5 (Redbridge area)
Working Days: 3 days per week
Contract: Long-term
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the SENDCo with administrative tasks related to EHCPs, provision mapping, and annual reviews
Liaising with parents, external agencies, and staff regarding SEND matters
Maintaining accurate and confidential SEND records and documentation
Using school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom) to update pupil data
Ensuring compliance with SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience working in SEND administration is essential
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proficient in school MIS systems (SIMS, Arbor, or similar)
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and external professionals
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
