About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate, committed, and experiencedSEND Teaching Assistantto join our dedicated team in a specialist SEND school. You will be working in aPMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)class supporting pupils withcomplex medical needs, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with PMLD and complex needs
* Assist with personal care, feeding, and mobility as required
* Use specialist equipment (hoists, standing frames, etc.) confidently and safely
* Support pupils in sensory-based learning activities and therapies
* Help implement EHCP targets and work closely with the class teacher and therapy teams
* Create a calm, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
* Communicate using a range of strategies (visual aids, objects of reference, sensory cues)
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children or young adults withPMLD and complex medical needs
* A relevantTeaching Assistant qualification(Level 2 or above)
* Confidence providingpersonal careand usingmanual handling techniques
* Understanding of communication aids such as switches, eye gaze, or symbol systems
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour and emotional regulation
* A genuine passion for supporting SEND learners and helping them thrive

Pay: £91.52-£97.15 per day
Expected hours: 19.5 per week
Schedule:
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* No weekends
