Overview:
We’re supporting a large organisation undergoing significant transformation, looking to appoint a senior technology/enterprise architect to help shape future‑state technology, processes, and operating models.
The Role:
1. Assess current technology, processes, and capabilities, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvements
2. Define and deliver enterprise and business architecture aligned to strategic objectives
3. Translate business strategy into operating models, capability roadmaps, and architectural direction
4. Lead major technical initiatives, influencing investment decisions and build vs. buy strategies
5. Provide design authority across complex programmes, including oversight of solution design and delivery
6. Engage senior stakeholders to agree requirements, set design principles, and ensure alignment through implementation
7. Support and lead governance and compliance activity, including IT and regulatory frameworks (e.g. SOX, ICOFR)
Experience Required:
8. Strong background in enterprise architecture and setting strategic technical direction
9. Experience defining and enforcing architecture governance
10. Hands‑on technical understanding (e.g. Java, JavaScript, C++, Angular, Git)
11. Experience with databases and ORM frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
12. Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
13. Experience with M&A / Carve-outs
