Key Requirements GCSEs/A Levels (or equivalent) in science-related subjects Knowledge of laboratory test methods and safety practices Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively Strong organisational and record-keeping skills Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work Previous laboratory experience is desirable but not essential About The Opportunity As a Laboratory Shift Technician, you will prepare, test, and report on submitted samples using both basic and advanced techniques. Working to agreed methodologies, you’ll contribute to maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental standards in line with Intertek’s procedures and external accreditation requirements. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure across a range of laboratory activities and develop your skills with the potential to progress to a Laboratory Shift Leader role.
