What you will do
* Develop, deliver, and evaluate workforce development programs for social workers and care staff.
* Support induction, mentoring, and coaching programs for those newly qualified or early in their careers.
* Offer expert advice and guidance on practice standards, professional growth, and continuous professional education.
* Assist in crafting recruitment and retention strategies to strengthen the workforce.
* Maintain a limited caseload of social work cases meeting statutory obligations when applicable.
* Contribute to workforce planning by spotting skills gaps and training needs.
* Create resources, guidance documents, and toolkits to bolster social work practice.
* Collaborate closely with managers, HR, training teams, and partner agencies ensuring cohesive operations.
* Monitor and report on workforce development results including staff performance and engagement.
