What Youll Do
* Estimate electrical small works and large tenders from start to finish
* Accurately quantify materials, labour, and plant requirements
* Review and interpret drawings, schedules, and tender documentation
* Prepare detailed scopes of work, cost breakdowns, and risk analyses
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best market pricing
* Maintain accurate tender records and manage bids from submission to contract award
* Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth handover to project teams
* Attend site surveys, client meetings, and contribute to winning bids
What Youll Bring
* Proven experience in electrical estimating, ideally in projects £100k£2m
* Strong knowledge of electrical installation regulations
* Commercial awareness and a knack for maximising value without compromising quality
* Excellent communication skills for dealing with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
* Competence in estimating software and Microsoft Office
* Ability to work independently while leading and mentoring others
