About the Role: We are currently seeking enthusiastic, caring, and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistants to work in a range of Trafford primary schools. You’ll work closely with class teachers and EYFS leaders to provide a nurturing, stimulating environment for children aged 3–5, supporting their learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. Key Responsibilities: Support children’s learning through play-based and structured activities Assist in planning and delivering engaging EYFS curriculum content Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups Promote positive behaviour and social development Help create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment Contribute to observation and assessment of children's progress About You: Experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or reception class) Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and development matters framework Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A patient, nurturing, and energetic approach A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Desirable: Level 2/3 TA qualification or Early Years Educator qualification Paediatric First Aid qualification Experience with children with SEND or EAL Why Work in Trafford?
