JOB: Mechanical Design Engineer / Development Engineer
LOCATION: East Sussex
TERM: Permanent
SALARY: GBP 25,000 : GBP 32,000 per annum (dependent on experience; please advise)
My client design and manufacture a variety of plastic products and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis in the East Sussex area.
The Mechanical Design Engineerwill Ideally Have The Following Attributes
: HNC / HND / Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
: New Graduate's will also be considered
: Any placement / experience in the engineering sector in a similar design role working hands on with prototypes would be desirable but not essential
: Good 3D CAD knowledge ideal (SolidWorks preferable)
: Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
: Have good communication skills both verbal and written
: Good proficiency with using Microsoft Office
The Mechanical Design Engineer Role Will Involve
: Working hands on within the Engineering team
: Supporting new products into the production process
: Assisting Design Engineers with product development
: Creating product BOM's
: Integrating with company documentation procedures
: Designing / draughting work using SolidWorks
: Communicating with different team members
: Working on different projects and achieving the timescales set
