What You’ll Do Configure, deploy, test, maintain, monitor, and resolve issues for infrastructure components, ensuring a robust, industry-standard platform. Manage servers, including Citrix, Virtualisation, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, File/Print Servers, PKI infrastructure, and the Windows OS family. Support, install, maintain, and troubleshoot server, storage, and related software within the data centre infrastructure. Monitor server and storage infrastructure for failures and performance issues. Administer the corporate backup system. Collaborate with internal business units to research, evaluate, test, pilot, document, implement, and transition new software and hardware into support. Respond to incidents logged in the Incident Management system and deliver technical solutions within agreed SLAs. Escalate issues and work with vendors as needed. Provide technical support and coordinate with business owners to fulfil project requirements, acting as a technical escalation point. Implement and manage scheduled tasks. Identify and escalate service issues appropriately. Verify, approve, recommend, and deploy changes through the ITIL change management process. Act as a role model for technical competence, collaboration, and continuous learning. Proactively maintain and develop technical accreditations, knowledge, and skills through vendor engagement, industry resources, and a structured development plan. Partner with internal IT consultants to better understand issues and identify effective solutions. What You Need to Succeed Must-Have: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar SLA-driven support role Strong customer service skills Experience supporting complex server and storage infrastructure, delivering projects, and managing related changes Industry-recognised qualifications related to current Microsoft Server operating systems Strong understanding of: Virtualisation technologies Server, storage, and backup technologies Cloud technologies Citrix Workspace (Virtual Apps and Desktops) IT security concepts and best practices ITIL Service Operations Framework (Incident, Change, Problem, and Major Incident Management) Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with: VMware (v6.7) SAN storage SQL Server Azure Server hardware PowerShell scripting Microsoft Clustering Public cloud platforms Exposure to: Linux OS (e.g. Debian/Ubuntu) Networking fundamentals Strong team player with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including communication up to C-level Punctual, reliable, and supportive with a positive attitude Demonstrated ability to take ownership of incidents and drive them to resolution or escalate appropriately We make technology work so people can do great things.
