This company is a digital transformation company specialising in bespoke software development, legacy system support, and enterprise applications for a diverse range of clients.
In this varied role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust web applications, implementing clean and scalable code using .NET 8, .NET Core, and C#. You will focus on backend logic, integrate complex REST APIs, and contribute to architectural planning and code reviews, ensuring adherence to security standards using Git-based workflows and CI/CD.
The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in .NET (C#) MVC, modern development practices, and a solid awareness of secure coding standards. While Umbraco is the primary CMS used, it is only desirable; the focus is on custom back-end development, SQL databases, RESTful services, and Git.

The Role
1. Design and maintain .NET-based web applications and services.
2. Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance C# code.
3. Ensure system integrity by adhering to strict security standards.
4. Use Git workflows and CI/CD in an agile environment.
The Person
5. Strong proficiency in .NET 8 / .NET Core (C#) MVC and modern software development.
6. Previous commercial experience with Umbraco would be beneficial (focused on custom back-end/API logic).
7. Experience with SQL, REST APIs, Git, ADO, and quality tools like SonarQube.
8. Able to commute to Spalding 5 days a week.
