Job Description
EduTalent Group are supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Medway that is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Primary Teacher to join the team for Terms 5 and 6. The school offers a supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons and help pupils develop both academically and personally.
Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a Year 3 class in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive and well managed classroom environment
• Differentiate learning to support pupils with a range of abilities and needs
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and wider school staff
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• Contribute to planning, assessment and school activities where required
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to plan engaging and differentiated lessons
• A proactive, flexible and supportive approach to teaching
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
