We are seeking trainee advanced clinical practitioners to join the Gastroenterology and Hepatology service based at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality care within a developing specialist service.
We will support your growth in autonomous practice within our dynamic, fast-paced teaching environment. Under the guidance of our consultants and ACP team, you will develop a comprehensive portfolio aligned with HEE credentials and work towards attaining a full MSc in advanced clinical practice.
As part of the clinical team, you will be trained to manage a range of Gastroenterology and Hepatology conditions within a consultant-led service. We are committed to helping you realize your potential as a clinician.
This position will progress to a Band 8a after completing a Masters pathway in Advanced Clinical Practice and obtaining an Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification. You will also undertake core clinical competencies and case presentations relevant to your practice area. All clinical and academic requirements must be completed within a set timeframe for progression to Band 8a.
The ideal candidate will have experience in acute and/or surgical settings, with some knowledge or experience in Gastroenterology/Hepatology. You should demonstrate a willingness to learn, be self-motivated, and aim to improve patient care through advanced clinical skills, leadership, education, and research, in line with national standards.
