Objekt is seeking a highly talented and data-driven Channel Manager to join our ambitious team in London. You will be the engine room behind our owned-and-operated channels across multiple platforms, with a keen focus on YouTube growth and success. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes the YouTube ecosystem.
About Us
Objekt is a forward-thinking creative content studio. We’re on a mission to make the digital world a more entertaining place. We collaborate with a diverse range of clients—from household names and broadcasters to disruptive challengers and talent—to produce content that punches through the noise.
We are publishing more, creating and scaling our own original digital formats. We run GRIPPED, our True Crime channel, and we have several more channel launches in the pipeline for 2026. We also manage channels for clients (from brands to other rights holders).
The Role
As our Channel Manager, you will take full ownership of our digital storefronts. You’ll be responsible for the health, growth, and creative performance of existing channels, our upcoming new channel launches, and our client-managed channels.
Beyond YouTube, you will lead the company’s own social presence across LinkedIn and Instagram, ensuring Objekt stays front-of-mind for the brands and talent we want to work with.
You will also feed in strategically into other projects offering platform and performance insight that can inform great creative.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of existing and future owned channels. This includes scheduling, uploading, metadata optimisation (titles/tags/descriptions), and community management.
* Create high performing thumbnails.
* Take a lead role in the creative and technical launch of new channels, guiding them through the journey to monetisation.
* Act as the \"voice of the platform\" during production and creative meetings. Use YouTube Analytics and data insights to inform our senior team on what’s working, what isn't, and how we should tweak formats to improve retention.
* Take control of the Objekt brand on LinkedIn and Instagram. We want our feeds to be as high-quality and \"noisy\" as the content we produce for clients.
* Write punchy, high-engagement captions, community posts, and \"clicky\" (but authentic) YouTube titles.
* Feed into new business pitches with informed, data-led insights, showing potential clients exactly how we will manage and grow their presence.
About You:
* You have a deep understanding of YouTube formats, algorithms, and audience behaviour. You know why a thumbnail works or why a viewer drops off at the 30-second mark.
* You can write in various tones - from the dark, intriguing hooks needed for True Crime to the smart, professional insight needed for a LinkedIn industry post.
* You look beyond views, at AVD, CTR, and traffic sources to work out the \"why\" behind the numbers.
* You don’t wait for a brief. You’re constantly suggesting new ideas for channels, channel growth, collaborations, or content hacks.
* You enjoy working in a tight-knit team and are happy to be based in our London office full-time to embrace that face-to-face creative energy.
Requirements:
* 2+ years experience in digital content or social media management, with a proven track record of growing YouTube channels.
* Fluent in YouTube Analytics. You should be able to navigate the backend with your eyes closed.
* Experience with supporting tools (eg VidIQ or Tubular Labs)
* Interest in the Creator Economy. You follow the trends and understand how brands, talent, and publishers are successfully leveraging video right now.
* Proficiency in Google Workspace. An understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere/Photoshop), Canva and other creative tools is a significant advantage for quick tweaks to assets and/or creating new content.
This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role at our offices in London Bridge / Southwark.
If you're passionate about great content and ready to help Objekt lead the digital entertainment space, we want to hear from you.
