Location: South of the UK (including the Midlands and Wales)

About the Opportunity
Our Client is a recognised leader in the medical device sector, with over 160 years of clinical and commercial heritage. Committed to improving lives through continuous innovation, they provide high-quality compression therapy solutions that support patients and clinicians alike.
They are now seeking a dynamic, experienced Regional Business Manager to oversee their Southern UK operations. This role is a blend of Player / Coach with leadership, coaching, and hands-on sales with strategic market development. You’ll lead a team of three Business Development Managers and report directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
* Territory Management – Oversee sales, customer relations, and training in the allocated region.
* Team Leadership – Inspire and support a team of Business Development Managers to exceed their targets and maintain alignment with business values.
* Coaching & Development – Mentor team members to improve capabilities and drive performance.
* Strategic Execution – Implement regional business strategies to deliver growth and achieve KPIs.
* Market Insights – Monitor trends and competitor activity to guide tactical adjustments.
* Client Engagement – Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare stakeholders.
* Compliance & Governance – Ensure full adherence to industry and company standards.
* Escalations – Handle complex customer queries and concerns professionally and promptly.
What We're Looking For
* A proven track record in a Regional Manager or comparable leadership role.
* At least 3 years’ experience in compression therapy or a similar medical device market.
* In-depth understanding of the NHS and private healthcare environments.
* Strong experience managing teams with varied backgrounds and skill levels.
* Knowledge of NHS supply chains, tenders, and formularies.
* Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
