Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for customers, building strong and professional relationships.
* Diagnose and repair complex instrument faults with precision and efficiency.
* Deliver training to customers on the operation and maintenance of advanced scientific instrumentation.
* Install new instruments at customer sites to the highest professional standards.
* Perform planned preventative maintenance to ensure instruments operate at peak performance.
* Travel extensively across the UK, with occasional opportunities for international travel.
Qualifications
* A solid technical background, ideally in electronics, physics, or analytical instrumentation.
* Hands-on experience with complex equipment and a natural aptitude for practical work.
* Strong diagnostic skills, including the ability to interpret technical drawings and troubleshoot electronic faults.
* Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and technical professionals.
* A self-motivated and proactive approach, with a willingness to travel regularly and learn new skills.
