The Bath Priory (part of the Brownsword family of hotels) has a great location in Bath, just a short walk from the city centre. The hotel is stunning, a Georgian house with 33 bedrooms built in honey- coloured Bath stone and is surrounded by four acres of multi- award-winning gardens. As a Sous Chef, you will be working alongside the Executive Head Chef to run a busy kitchen whilst galvanising a high performing team whilst creating exciting and delicious dishes to be served to guests. With a new Executive Chef in position it is a great time to join the team.
This role would suit someone who has worked in a similar role and has experience within a Michelin environment.

As a skilled chef, youll get to really put those knife skills to the test, cooking with the finest of ingredients.
We want to keep everyone safe, so youll need to keep up to date with the latest allergen training.
Being one team, everyone in the kitchen is responsible for keeping it clean.
Nobody wants out of date food, so labelling your food is important.
As an experienced chef, we encourage you to share your knowledge with new, budding Junior Sous, CDPs, KPs and Commis coming into the industry.
Youll be responsible for managing the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
Along with the Head Chef, youll write the allergen matrix, to ensure that all our guests are kept safe.
We cant run out of food, so its important to keep on top of ordering, via Procure Wizard.
