Health and Safety Lead – Sizewell C, UK
As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Bouygues Travaux Publics seeks a Health and Safety Lead to guide a team of HSW professionals and ensure the safe delivery of work across the enabling and earthworks element of this state‑of‑the‑art nuclear power station that will provide low‑carbon electricity to around 6 million homes for at least 60 years.

What will you be doing?
* Communicating and implementing the HSW strategy.
* Building solid relationships with stakeholders and delivering on customer strategic and tactical requirements.
* Leading and managing the HSW team, including supporting the Performance Development Review (PDR) process.
* Undertaking Health and Safety compliance evaluations, tours and audits.
* Identifying and ranking risk associated with CWA work activities.
* Preparing fact‑driven reports following inspections, tours, audits and investigations.
* Supporting the implementation of and ensuring compliance with the Sizewell C (SZC) project standards and the CWA Safety Management System (SMS).
What do you need to succeed?
* Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
* Detailed technical knowledge and experience in Health and Safety legislation, regulations and guidance.
* Experience working on major infrastructure projects.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (or working towards).
* NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
