Responsibilities
* Work as a part of two-person team delivering products to customer premises (room of choice) on multidrop basis - an average of 16 drops per day off peak and 24 drop per day in peak season
* Assist the delivery driver in parking and manoeuvring a company vehicle as well as loading and unloading of vehicles as and when required
* Provide effective customer service while ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition
* Ensure that customers are kept informed of their estimated time of delivery and any issues are communicated in a polite and courteous manner
Requirements
* Experience of dealing with multi drop home delivery preferred but not essential
* Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
* Willingness to complete manual handling tasks such as pulling, lifting, and pushing
* Can do attitude with a knack for problem solving
* Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check
* Be prepared to commute to Doncaster (DN4 8DG) for the required shift pattern
Schedule & Compensation
* You'll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, following a two-week rotating shift pattern: Week 1 - Monday to Friday / Week 2 - Sunday to Thursday, with a start time at 11:00. The role is contracted to 40 hours per week.
* An hourly rate of £12.21, that is an annual salary of £25,396.80
* Overtime pay of £18.32 per hour (when applicable, paid over 40hrs)
