This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn through a Modern Apprenticeship leading to a healthcare career as a Pharmacy Support Worker. You will study, train, and work as part of our Pharmacy team based at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
Role Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team of Pharmacy Technicians and Support Workers in our busy, newly automated Pharmacy Department. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the technical team with the day-to-day operations of the Aseptic Dispensing Unit, including packaging, delivery, and safe storage of aseptically dispensed medicines within Raigmore and peripheral sites.
Training and Qualifications
You will undertake a structured training program to achieve the SVQ Pharmacy Services qualification at SCQF Level 6, fulfilling the General Pharmaceutical Council's minimum training requirements for the role.
Candidate Requirements
* Enthusiastic with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
* Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
* Demonstrate good written communication, diligence, and attention to detail
* Flexible and committed to completing the training program
* Achieved or working towards 3 National 4 qualifications (or SCQF equivalent), including English, Maths, and Science
* Must meet mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support workers in Scotland and adhere to the code of conduct
