What We Are Looking For
Gimblet Rock Holiday Park is our luxury holiday park on the Llŷn Peninsula, one of the most strikingly beautiful stretches of coastline in Wales. Rated 5 stars by Visit Wales, situated next to Pwllheli Marina with miles of golden sand on the doorstep and Snowdonia National Park just minutes away, this is a park that sells itself to anyone who sets foot on it. What it needs is a sales advisor who can match that setting with real skill and genuine passion for people.
We’re looking for a results-driven, people-first Holiday Home Sales Advisor to join the team. You’ll be offering buyers the opportunity to own a holiday home at one of the finest parks in North Wales, showcasing luxury lodges and static caravans to prospective owners, and taking ownership of the entire sales journey from first conversation to keys in hand.
Unleash Your Earning Potential
Starting salary of £30,00 based on experience | OTE of over £60,000 with the opportunity to earn even more
This role comes with an unlimited commission plan. The harder you work, the more you’ll earn, the limit does not exist.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Holiday Home Sales Advisor at Gimblet Rock, you’ll be the person who meets, engages and builds genuine relationships with prospective buyers. You’ll give them the insight they need to make a confident, informed decision about holiday home ownership at a five star park and you’ll make the whole journey feel exciting rather than daunting.
* Seek out and create opportunities to talk to potential holiday homeowners - through park visits, inbound enquiries, events and your own proactive outreach
* Conduct engaging park tours and lodge viewings, making the most of the spectacular setting to help buyers picture their life here
* Guide prospective owners through every aspect of ownership - from the product range and pitch options to finance, site fees and the buying process
* Manage a pipeline of active prospects using our CRM, keeping every lead warm with timely, professional follow-up
* Handle part-exchange enquiries, supporting existing owners who are ready to upgrade
* Work to stretching monthly sales targets, always with the aim that every new owner says it was a pleasure to buy from you
* Represent Gimblet Rock Holiday Park and Pario Holiday Parks with pride, both on park and at any wider sales events or owner occasions
One more thing, holidays happen at holiday times. You’ll need to be at your best at weekends and bank holidays, because that’s when the park is at its busiest and buyers are on site.
Skills, Experience and Qualities You’ll Need
First and foremost, you are a people person. You have a real talent for making customers feel genuinely special. Whether on the phone or face to face. It’s in the way you talk and, just as importantly, in the way you listen.
* A natural relationship-builder who earns trust quickly and maintains it across a longer buying journey
* Calm, approachable and focused - even during the busiest and most pressured moments on park
* Positive and self-motivated, with a genuine love of working in a performance-driven environment
* Organised and able to manage multiple live prospects at once without letting standards slip
* Resilient - able to handle a quieter week and come back with the same energy when the park fills up
Nice to Have but Not Essential
We won’t hold it against you if you don’t tick every box below, we’ll give you everything you need to succeed.
* Previous experience selling holiday homes, static caravans, lodges or similarly high value products such as car sales
* A background in estate agency, property sales or new homes - consultative skills transfer brilliantly to this environment
* Experience in outbound sales, generating your own appointments and building a prospect pipeline from scratch
* Familiarity with a CRM platform and the discipline to keep it accurate and up to date
* Bilingual, English and Welsh language - we're proud of our parks locations across the North Wales coast
Whatever your background, we will provide full product training and ongoing support to make sure you can guide every customer from first enquiry to completion with confidence.
Our Values, What It’s Like Here
Gimblet Rock isn’t your average holiday park. Sitting on the southern shore of the Llŷn Peninsula it’s a place with a genuinely exceptional setting. Here you will work where people matter, in a friendly, family-run business surrounded by a supportive team. We have a can do, people centred culture that runs through everything we do.
