About the Role
As Head Chef, youll be the cornerstone of our kitchen operations. Your leadership will shape the menu, inspire the team, and ensure every plate that leaves the kitchen reflects our commitment to quality and flavour. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the balance of hands-on cooking and strategic oversight, ensuring both daily excellence and long-term growth.
Working Hours
This role offers a 5-day working week, aligning with typical hospitality industry hours. Flexibility is essential, as evenings, weekends, and holidays will be part of the working schedule to meet the needs of the bustling establishment.
Key Duties
Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver high quality dishes consistently.
Design and execute seasonal menus that highlight fresh, local ingredients
Oversee Kitchen operations, ensuring health and safety regulations, stock management and ordering processes.
Train, mentor and develop other kitchen staff
Monitor and manage food costs to maintain budgetary requirements.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef with 2 or more years of experience or an experienced Sous Chef looking to take the step up 4 + years of experience
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Passion for creating high-quality, seasonal dishes
Excellent understanding of kitchen operations, including budgeting and compliance
